Salvator noster, dilectissimi, hodie natus est.  Gaudeamus!	Onze Verlosser, lieve mensen, is vandaag geboren.  Laten wij ons verheugen!
Hodie in terra canunt angeli, laetantur archangeli. Hodie exultant justi, dicentes: gloria in excelsis Deo: Noë, noë, noë	Op aarde zingen vandaag de engelen, juichen de aartsengelen, en jubelen de rechtvaardigen: ‘Ere zij God in de hoogste hemel!’ Kerstmis, kerstmis, kerstmis!

The motet is based on the text of the Magnificat antiphon at Second Vespers on Christmas Day, interspersed with the traditional Christmas cries of ‘Noe, noe’. (Hyperion Records)
